Holidays - 1st September

Yesterday it was the Independence Day for the country, independence here being independent from the rule of the British colony 52 years ago and it was of course, a national holiday. Next Monday is again another public holiday due to a Muslim holy day. Besides these two holidays, I had my own holiday on Friday and Saturday. I went to a place which I really liked: Genting Highlands Resort! It was really cold in the mornings and nights, but the afternoons there was warm...The chill was probably due to the rain on the previous day. Anyways, I don't have all the pictures with me at the moment and therefore, the pictures would have to be later! But well, the holidays are over and therefore it is time to concentrate on work and studies. I've realize that I was not very productive in the past few weeks, time to brush it up!

It was really ignorance when u, as a MALAYSIAN, and perhaps, those MALAYSIAN who live in "Tanah Malaya" (peninsula) mentioning about so call "Independence Day for the country"...WHAT NATION INDEPENDENCE DAY are you talking about?

There is no such things like COUNTRY INDEPENDENCE DAY on 31 August! Rubbish! Only PEOPLE who really BLIND about HISTORY of MALAYSIA will say so...again, HANYA MEREKA YANG BUTA DAN TIDAK MENGENAL SEJARAH SAHAJA YANG AKAN MENGELUARKAN KENYATAAN SEDEMIKIAN!

Stop it...it was such a prejudice when GOVERNMENT itself keep fooling RAKYAT with such FACT! Again, i repeat, MALAYSIA NATIONAL DAY should be on 16 September! Not 31 August! What is so "SPECIAL" about Tanah Malaya (Semenanjung) until being GRANTED with a NATIONAL HOLIDAY and BIG CELEBRATION involving all the TOP leaders in the country, just for its very own KEMERDEKAAN?

How about SABAH and SARAWAK? Why no such thing as HOLIDAY or CELEBRATION on 16 September? Why no so call "special" day for SARAWAK who gain its independence on 22 July 1963 from British? Again, those who keep on mentioning MALAYSIA MERDEKA PADA 31 OGOS 1957 is STUPIP, and uneducated in HISTORY!

What a SAD thing...but this is the FACT! We SABAHAN and SARAWAKIAN had been long time neglected by TANAH MALAYA...pls understand our sentiment! MALAYSIA - 16 September 1963, NOT 31 August 1957.

Essentially, the British officially gave the country its independence on the 31st August 1957, even if the country was then not Malaysia, I did not mention that the independence was for Malaysia (read thoroughly). And on 16th September 1963 the country called Malaysia was formed which includes Sabah and S'wak, and even Singapore. Thus, when Sabah, Sarawak and Tanah Melayu then joined together as a country called Malaysia, the independence was given by the British in general towards the country itself. If you would like to argue about 16th September 1963 as the actual independence day, let me ask you:- There wasn't even any independence for a country called Malaysia, only for Tanah Melayu.

Like i always mentioned, only people WHO BUTA SEJARAH (sorry to mentioned...this refer to you here) will say so. Go and see how U.S.A. or Britain (both are federation country just like MALAYSIA) was formed and WHEN they celebrated their so call NATIONAL DAY. Like U.S.A. they did not celebrated Independence Day for California, or Los Angeles etc...what they celbrate is U.S.A. National Day..when all the states in U.S.A. eventualy FORM U.S.A.

Now back to MALAYSIA. Are you talking about TANAH MELAYU? This had prove that...again, people who REALLY BUTA SEJARAH wants to argue! Pls make it CLEAR, no such country like Tanah Melayu did existed...it should be TANAH MALAYA! TANAH MALAYA. Since, even a "citizen" from Tanah Malaya also can get his "country" name wrong, so...i can't expect to "argue" it FACTfully through the POINT of SEJARAH!

What a disgrace...seeing MALAYSIAN are so PROUD of Tanah Malaya Independence Day...instea of MALAYSIA NATIONAL DAY! As i say before, i can't blame anyone, except for the GOVERNMENT for who introduce STUPID SEJARAH TEXT BOOK which had cause an "arguement" like what u had give here. HISTORY beed to be re-write! As a matter of FACT, u won't and never will know how SABAHAN and SARAWAKIAN feels all this while... We give the BEST to federal govrenment just to received so TINY development from federal. We give TANAH MALAYA OIL, BALAK etc... but, go to Sarawak and see how the ROAD condition there...

Unless MALAYSIA NATIONAL DAY on 16 September, or else, MALAYSIA is only "mempergunakan" sepenuhnya SABAH and SARAWAK to achieve it's Tanah Malaya propaganda!
