Microsoft Lottery Scam? - 27th August

I think if I update all the scams I get through the email, I will probably get a lot of postings about this. Today another email came to me and it is about the Microsoft Lottery program which again I did not enter. Luckily they provide the image file, which is easier for me to type. Anyways, here is the supposedly 'winning notification letter':-

It's extremely obvious, the lottery is by Microsoft but the letter is by Yahoo. A search through the email in the letter, and eliminating the name, goes here: Frontiers Office.Net. I looked at the site, and noticed that it is powered by Google, why would Microsoft want Google to power their website? And the sender was:- from insing.com. All totally different from the original purpose of the lottery. Obviously, I've pawned another scammer. Therefore:-

Microsoft Lottery Scam = Fail and Pawned!

UK National Online Lottery Scam - 27th August

As before, I taught on how to detect scams and how they reveal themselves to be totally a scam, and recently, I've received another scam email for the so-called UK National Lottery for a sum of an amazing £800,000. It even has a serial number! Well, let's just laugh at this, I've never even join. Emails of this nature reminds me that lottery companies or agencies randomly assign ticket numbers to people on the Net? That will be like over a few million people? And wow, how do they know my email when I never joined? Sixth sense? Anyways, here's the email:-

I wonder if anybody realize the signature at the bottom? It says:-

What? The lottery has to be notified by a property company? Makes no sense! That's there another bane of scammers and fraudsters, the signature line. This makes sending a scam email using the company email address is a really bad idea after all. The company in the signature line is also taking a punch in its credibility.

The Making of Chocolate - 26th August

Although I've made a posting on the 15Malaysia movies, namely: House, Chocolate and Halal, I deem that this video should get a separate posting of its own. Wonder why? Sharifah Amani in the video is sooooo cute. That is probably one of the main reasons. Although maybe not all the time, as too much of it would cause it to be irritable, I think girls should have some sense of playfulness and a bit 'manja' (wheedling) sometimes, it just makes her more of a girl. (Only real girls can do this, don't try this guys, it just make you look like a weakling).

15Malaysia - 26th August

My brother's friend put up the video entitled 'Halal' (Halal in my own words mean that something which is not against the laws of religion or judicial laws) on Facebook recently. It starred Adibah Noor as the main cast and it was really hilarious, talking about how you should slaughter livestock the halal / Muslim way. It is indeed very informative. Later, while searching for the video in Youtube, I realize that it is part of 15 short movies by various directors, showcasing the Malaysia way of life. Due to the unique mix of races in country, our interaction with each other is somewhat different compared to other countries.

The videos potrayed showed clearly how Malaysians lived, and in fact, I myself can relate very much with the videos shown. Some, are funny while others create a somber mood, forcing us to think, it it sometimes really saddening that we're living in the same country but segregation has brought us nothing but alienation of each other. No doubt, extremists politicians with their own ideas has also brought down their ways in a much greater effect, using the media, newspapers, television and radio and further deepening the distrust between races and disrupting the harmony. Because they are often seen in the media, the general population trusts them, believing their words, thinking that the other races are hostile and cannot be trusted, and in turn plants hatred which often leads to social stereotype. As far as I know, the current stereotype in the country is that: the (C) -> cheats, (M) -> lazy and (I) -> poor, which all three stereotyping is extremenly sad to hear. I'm sure a lot of Malaysians would agree that not all are like that, in fact, only a small tiny fraction are like that, it's only how influental people has potrayed them to be.

Anyways, I'm proud to be a Malaysian and I'm proud to show these videos.
Video source:- http://15malaysia.com/films/

Title: Chocolate by Yasmin Ahmad
The first part of the film depicts the straining relationship between (M) and (C) in the counrty, how some people of the race have so much hatred for each other due to the 'aid' provided by certain quarters and the publicity generated by influential people defending their issues.

Title: House by Linus Chung
This film is clear to portray the poverty suffered by some races in the country, especially (I), and this has become one of the main points that influential people from this race often fight for. Anyways, the wonderful Miss Sukarnia (The Mother) was my STPM MUET teacher and I think she still teaches at SMK Sultan Abdul Samad.

Title: Halal by Liew Seng Tat
This file depicts the 'Halal' food in counrty.

Guess this Location - 24th August

I was looking online for H1N1 prevention beverage recipe when I stumbled upon this:-

Well? What do you think this is?
Clue 1: It's in Batu Pahat. (No, it's not a new shopping complex)
Clue 2: It's in Parit Raja. (No, it's not a new Wellward)
Clue 3: It's in UTHM! (No, it's not a faculty)
This is in fact....

The New Library!

I'm sure a lot of students who graduated in 2008 can remember the days during the final exams of their final years, they were just doing piling works for the library. Now, it's really huge compared to the older one. Anyways, it looks really grand and I would definitely like to visit it one day when it's finished and opened.

Mystery MACC Letter translation - 21st August

Here is the translation of the letter posted earlier.

=================================================================================

BRIBERY, MISCONDUCT AND CORRUPTION OF A SUPERIOR OFFICER OF MACC SELANGOR

Respectfully, we would like to refer to the subject above.

We would like to inform you that we, officers of the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC), feel obliged to expose the misconduct and bribery of a senior officer of the MACC, Deputy Director (DD) MACC Selangor PKPj I Hishamuddin bin Hashim, in connection with the case of TEOH BENG HOCK and another case involving the bungalow of DATO' SERI DR MOHAMAD KHIR BIN TOYO in Section 7, Shah Alam, Selangor.

2. For YBhg Tan Sri/Dato/Tuan/Puan's information, DD was directly involved in the investigations on the fraud case of the Selangor State Government's funds for YB Ean's (ADUN Seri Kembangan) allocation. His involvement was not just on official orders, but he has also given instructions to his subordinates to find, with any means possible, any evidence of wrongdoing by the Selangor State Goverment. He acted in this fashion because he has made a conspiracy with Khir Toyo to topple the government of Selangor. These (gelojoh) actions directly resulted in the death of Teoh Beng Hock. There arise a few suspicious questions that we, officers of the MACC Malaysia, ask on how Teoh Beng Hock could have died. We suspect the DD's involvement in the death of Teoh Beng Hock based on the following:

i) DD had ordered all MACC officers involved in the operation that he not be directly involved in the case. In fact, he was the one who gave all the orders in this operation and other operations in MACC Selangor. In fact, he was afraid to be involved directly because this could expose his conspiracy with Khir Toyo.

ii) The chemical investigators have discovered fingerprints and male DNA on the front side of both sides of Teoh Beng Hock's belt. Based on our, the officers of MACC Malaysia, knowledge, the DD has an individual style of investigative techniques which include interrogating a suspect by holding the front of his belt, lifting him a few times while shaking him.

iii) The process of collecting DNA on MACC Selangor officers was performed in 2 sessions. In the first session of collecting DNA, the DD made every effort to evade giving his DNA sample. The DD was said to have given his DNA sample in the second session, but suspicions arise because the DD gave his DNA sample in the privacy of his own office while all other MACC offiers including the MACC Director have given their DNA samples in a meeting room in the presence of many other individuals. Why did the DD give his DNA sample in a secretive fashion? Was the DNA provided really his DNA? We, the officers of the MACC Malaysia, feel puzzled that there was no one else in the presence of the DD when he allegedly gave his DNA sample? We recommend that the DNA Test on the DD must be done again, witnessed by a group of people who can be trusted.

iv) We have been informed that the DD had ordered his subordinates to erase/clean the fingerprints on the window that Teoh was believed to have fallen from. This was proven when the police could not find any signs of fingerprints, new or old, on the window. The question is, why did the DD order that this be done?

v) We suspect, based on information we have obtained, that the DD did not touch his punch-card when he left the office on the 16th of July 2009, at 6:10 am. This is important because it can prove that the DD was the last person to see Teoh. The question is, why did he not touch his punch-card when he is a person who always touches his punch-card. For the record, he is very diligent with his punch-card.

3. For YBhg Tan Sir/Dato/Tuan/Puan's information, the DD in question is very influential in the enforcement of investigation operations around Selangor and the rest of Malaysia. In MACC Selangor, he is the most important person who decides whether a case should be prosecuted even if the power should rest in the hands of the Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP). His decision is prompted by his personal interests and those of his co-conspirators. So, it is no surprise that he led the MACC Selangor Investigative Unit for decades, at least since the Selangor state government was under the helm of the Barisan Nasional government (Khir Toyo) until now. He was promoted ahead of schedule, from Grade 41 to Grade 54, over the course of 16 years without transfer to other positions or locations other than that of the MACC Selangor. Based on the MACC, any officer who has been promoted or who has worked for more than 5 years in a state should be transferred to a different location to avoid the officer being involved in local bribery. One of the reasons he was never transferred is because he was tasked to "take care of" the position of Dato' Seri Dr Khir Toyo in Selangor. As a result, Khir Toyo also "took care of" his position in Selangor as a favour.

4. As a result of his position in MACC Selangor for these many years, he has been involved in various cases of bribery and misuse of power. Some of the incidents of bribery or misuse of power that we have investigated are as follows:

i) Closing the case of Khir Toyo connected to the approval of a road construction project, in Sekinchan running 20.5 km valued at RM 92.5 million to a contractor that was nearly blacklisted, Meram Holdings. According to the JKR's estimates, the road should have cost less than RM 50 million. The subcontractor that did the work on the project was Cabaran Wangsa, owned by Pua Kim An, the landlord of a house that had once been rented by Khir, while another company director, Ahmad Tarmizi Tajjeury is a Khir crony that was also given 100 acres of land at a profit to him of at least RM 20 million.

ii) Owning assets that exceed his emoluments such as:
a. Owning a few rental houses of which one is a two storey terrace house that was purchased at a favourable price from Pemaju Kumpulan Lebar Daun Development Sdn Bhd, as a result of the closing of the case against the Group Executive Chairman, Dato' Noor Azman @ Noor Hizam bin Mohd Nurdin. The case was investigated by the then BPR Selangor for a few years together with various other houses owned by him. To remove public and subordinate suspicions, he lived in the Government Quarters in Kg Atap, Kuala Lumpur.

b. Owning a Petronas petrol station on the left of the Federal Highway KM 8.6 - 8.7, Section 1, Federal Highway, Shah Alam, 40000 Selangor (near the Melati Roundabout, Shah Alam to Klang bound, registered under the name of his brother. The petrol station only just began operating this year (2009), part of which was built above a Chinese cemetary. He managed to get the site to build the petrol station because of his power, which was exercised in the era of Khir Toyo's government in Selangor.

c. Owning several plots of land around Shah Alam, in which one of them is believed to be beside the new SACC Mall registered under the name of a wife of a MACC Selangor driver named Abdullah b Azim, a full time homemaker in her late 30s.

iii) He has been caught in close proximity with a subordinate officer, Investigator rank, named Nor Azlina bt Mustafa besides the Shah Alam Lake early in 2009 by 2 police officers. He showed his identity card (MACC) and informed the police officers that he and the officer were in the middle of an operation and they were released. These "intimacies" between him and the Investigator were repeated and are common knowledge of many including his own wife. The only action taken by the Department was transferring the officer involved to the MACC Headquarters in Putrajaya. This was not effective because Azlina is still always with the DD in the Selangor office.

5. This letter was written to uphold justice and prevent the further abuse of power especially in the MACC and throughout Malaysia. We in the MACC are fed up to see his antics which have the blessings of the powers that be, like the saying "beraja di mata, bersultan di hati". We in the MACC are at lost in finding departments/institutions/N
GOs that can champion this issue so that appropriate actions can be taken.

6. We, the officers of the MACC, are touched and thankful that YBhg Dato'/tuan/puan could expose this issue to the people and the authorities so that an organisation/NGO can take the appropriate action, or an independent investigation, can be taken and raised to the Cabinet. This is very important because it involves the integrity of a serving officer of a department that upholds the laws involving human integrity. The DD is now making every effort to press his subordinates to find any faults involving ruling PKR in the hopes that the PKR-led government will fall in Selangor and his secret will be safe. For your information, the DD is now very afraid whenever news about Dato' Seri Khir Toyo is released in the press and he would be very afraid if the case would expose his involvement.

7. We hope that any brave individuals or organizations can spread this information so that our actions can be brought to the attention of responsible and trusted authorities and that justice can be done. We are unable to do this ourselves because he has a "cable" with the powers that be.

8. Cooperation from YBhg Tan Sri/Dato'/tuan/puan is much appreciated and we hope that through your action, much more information can be brought to light involving individuals with no integrity. We hope that this will cleanse the MACC and its officers from further involvement in bribery and corruption.

Sekian, terima kasih

Although I'm not that into politics, but the death of Teoh Beng Hock raises so many unanswered questions. The people of the country are definitely interested in the circumstances surrounding his death. Imagine, a young man, who is about to get married, why would he commit suicide? It doesn't make any sense at all. His life is happy enough without any problems why would he have killed himself? He did not even show signs of depression on the days leading to his death....

The truth is definitely out there.

The Mystery MACC letter - 21st August

Well, this is from a posting from a friend's blog. You can see the blog location at the sidebar advertisement, labeled 'politics'. Well, the thing about this post is that it has attached the 'supposedly' letter claiming a number of things which I think should be read by one own self and get a personal conclusion from it. So, here it is:-

Source:http://mt.m2day.org/2008/content/view/25886/84/

Yes, it is in Bahasa Melayu or the Malay language as it the official language of the country that must be used in formal letters, therefore I intend to get in translated in another posting I guess. But the translation is based on my best effort and hopefully it won't be used against me in legal terms. Strange thing about this letter that I know is that word 'mati' (death) as the common formal term of a death in a formal letter would be 'meninggal dunia'. I'm suspecting that the letter must be not by the MACC themselves, but who would waste so much time to get such letter ciculated and get it written in the first place. (Its not short!)

Who is the New Leader in China - 20th August

I've watched this video on a conversation between Condoleza Rice and G.W.Bush on who is the new leader of China and I find it tremendously hilarious. Watched it a couple of times and it still remains funny as ever. Anyways, this video shows how important is communications, a mis-communication and the whole meaning becomes a joke. So, here's the video, Enjoy!

It cracks me up every time and never fails to make my day.

Child Kidnap Call Scam - 19th August

Recently, Wingz in his blog, posted a scam in Malaysia that involves children whereby the caller would call the target randomly and after the target has picked up the phone, the caller would start to call out: Papa! a couple of times (assumed to be prerecorded).

This would of course generally cause parents to panic and call the caller back to inquire about their children whereabouts and what is the caller's demands for the safety of their children. While this is usually a scam, it is not safe to assume that it always is as there are also chances that it may be a real case of kidnapping. In the case that this is indeed a scam, you will commonly be paying the caller a large some of money to ensure that your child is 'released', which in the end, you would realize that it is a scam.

Wingz did post the telephone number that most of us should be aware of: 013-7288725.

No, this is not the actual picture. But it is real in China.

===================
In case this may happen to you, a couple of things that you should do:-

1> Don't panic and first thing should be to assume that it is a prank call.

2> Determine if your child is near you. (at home etc.)

3> Determine if your child is able to speak first thing. (Children 1 years etc. can't speak yet)

4> Determine if your child is able to speak the language the caller played to you. (If you've never heard your child speaking a particular language before, it's probably a scam)

5> Call the person taking care of your child, making sure that your child is near him/her.
(Important to also call your child if possible.)

6> If your child is indeed missing, call the police saying the guy who called you is harassing you and is threatening your safety of your child.

7> Co-operate with the police to stage an act to capture the culprit.

=================

These culprits have nothing to do in their hands, and with current economic depression, no doubt wants to find a living by using your bank account.

I'm tired of being Rick-rolled - 18th August

Anyone who is an avid visitor to Youtube would sure have been 'rick-rolled' and I'm extremely tired of it. ( For people who are unsure what being 'rick-rolled' means can refer HERE ). But anyways, I'm bored of that despicable act of the worst kind.

Typical scenario:- You go to Youtube, hoping to find some nice videos of topics that interests you and suddenly there is one with a great title on what you were looking for so long, especially when the title sounds like they have info that you were longing to see or know. You click the link and the video starts to load. After a few seconds of somewhat introducing the information you were looking for, it stops abruptly and it starts with a 80's video of a douchebag (forgive my profanities in this post, I' just too frustrated ) singing some 80's song. After being stunned for a couple of seconds, you start curing and hit the 'back' button on the instant. Imagine, after hours of searching for a video in something you wanted to know about, you're suddenly 'bombed' by this low-life douchebag singing some 'forget-it' song. It's not even frm the original creator, wouldn't that be a infringment of copyright? And does these people have too much time in their hands and they have nothing to do other than make these dumb videos? Serves them right if their lifes are miserable for causing other people's lifes to be miserable.

This is to the guy who started this stuff and to the people supporting him:- !@#$%^&*!@#$%^&*
As the saying goes, curse a person enough times, and it will come true. So, here goes: !@#$%^&*, !@#$%^&*, !@#$%^&*, !@#$%^&*, !@#$%^&*, !@#$%^&*.....

I would call it as a fraud, and Internet fraud where it should be punishable by cyber-laws in all countries of the world. Why fraud? It provides misleading information and the titles does not properly reflect the content that it is about to display. Which is why most porn sites have a disclaimer as the first page as it is punishable by-law if you do not warn the user of the content that will be shown, especially to minors. In this case, there were no proper warning that people are being tricked into clicking the links. Even Youtube do not provide such disclaimers which is a shame. For all I know, I'm starting here a petition to ban all 'rick-rolled' videos if no proper warning are issued beforehand. Negligence to obey would result in the computer used in uploading the fraud video to banned from accessing cyberspace and probably a jail term of more than 2 years for disrupting the harmony of cyberspace. Even virus programmers are jailed, why can't be these scumbags?

Anyone who would say 'yes' to the new cyberspace rule, leave a comment!
And if you can, leave a link which is a 'rick-roll' video so that other people can avoid them. And if you don't support the new rule, you can go rot for all eternity!

Yoroi - 18th August

Recently, I went snooping around Lelong.com to do some 'computer screen' shopping aka 'window shopping' to see things around that are for sale and I found this:-

It is a replica Japanese yoroi armor at 5 in. tall. and sold at the price of RM60.00.
At first I wanted to buy it, but later I decided not as my current economic situation is not very fair therefore, the urge was abandoned. But my fascination with yoroi armor has never ceased before and I hope to own a full set and size yoroi armor. Heck, if I do have all the money I could spent, my house would contain a gallery of medieval armor of all sorts of sources, japanese, chinese, the midieval english armor, and maybe the spanish armor. ( Anyone can suggest any nice armors out there that are full plating? )

Anyways, according to wiki, yoroi literally translates to 'great armor'. And here I have some pictures of actual yoroi armor found on the Internet. (drools...). I think my fascination with them is due to the 'cool' samurai factor, influenced by watching animes and dramas on samurai. The armor itself also tend to strike fear into people looking at it and the armor looks so complex and complicated!

This reminds me of various Kitaro songs where the battle horn is sounded. To Battle!

Gif Animations from Powerpoint - 17th August

Sometimes, we might want to put an advertisement in our own website, but yet don't want to spend too much money on hiring someone else to create it for you. Of course, the advertisement would better off be animated as animations attract more attention. One way of doing it is by using MS Powerpoint or such software and Ulead GIF Animator. All that needs to be done is as below (this creates a simple animated advert similar to my advertisement on the side bar):-

You can download the animator:- HERE

1> Make the advertisement in MS Powerpoint (PP), each slide is one part of the animation, meaning that each slide should be a gradual change to the next slide.
2> Then, save it .jpg format. In the save-as function, there's a an option to select .jpg files as the format. It will ask you whether do you want to convert all slides, click convert all slides.
3> Locate the folder where you save the images and remember it.
4> Open the program, click on animation wizard and customize it to get you own animated advertisement.

Well, if anyone needs details, email me:- siong_hean@hotmail.com

Sepet - 13th August

ASTRO has devoted an entire channel to just showing Yasmin Ahmad's dedeications / movies / interviews between 8th to 31st August on channel 110. I was watching another channel when this advertisement for the channel showed up. I was bored so I switched to channel 110. They were showing the movie "Sepet" at the time and I watched it for quite a while until the movie reaches the part where 'Jason' visits his friend at the hospital.

His friend said (rough translation from Hokkien):"...wonder why is it so hard these days? It wasn't even so back in the olden days...We're supposed to be more civilized but yet..."

This struck me and made me think real hard...Back in the olden days, there were the Babas and Nyonyas, a inter-racial marriage between a Malay and a Chinese. Those days, there were no rule saying that you must convert to Muslim in order to marry each other, but these days, this has been a strict rule that most Islamic countries have to follow, as it is said that it is contained in the Quran. (I'm not an expert on this.) Why then in the Malaccan days, this was possible and yet Quran already exist at that time?

What I'm trying to rant out is that, the Muslim-man can marry a non-Muslim without her converting to Muslim while a Muslim woman cannot marry a non-Muslim man at all costs. What if both parties have consented to each other's religion and each practice their own religion without affecting the love they have for each other? Wouldn't that be more important than having forced marriages just because a person has no other choice?

Is not that I've fallen for a Muslim girl / lady...I'm just intrigued by the fact that the Babas and Nyonyas were able live in harmony back then when we were less of a country and yet still be able to protect their heritage while modern age imposes us with all sorts of laws which removes us from the context of being human.

Six Brothers and Sisters 육남매 - 12th August

Recently my family is really engrossed in watching the 6.00pm korean drama on ASTRO AEC Channel 301 translated into mandarin with mandarin subtitles. Its called: Six Children (육남매 translated as Six Brothers and Sisters.) It is about a single mother having to care for her six children, but yet they are poor. They face numerous hardships and difficulties of daily life. The thing is that this drama depicts quite closely of real life issues in the old modern days. My parents could even relate to some scenes in the movie, telling us how it was in the early years.

I've actually been looking around the names of the cast from all sorts of sites and I finally found one with a some names! And so, here they are, even with pictures:- (Some of them seem to be lacking pictures, not sure why, but maybe they're not famous enough?)

Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's House - 7th August

I guess the Internet is a place to spread rumors. And again I've received an email on the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's private home, displaying the full-glory of its magnificence. The images sparked wonder and awe at how lavishly it's furnished, and the size is indeed humongous! I guess the total area of my home compared to this guy's is at most only 1/1000. Well, lets look at the pictures and try not to spill saliva on the computer as you gape on the images:-

Wow, it's like the Putrajaya Administration Building but this is a home!

With so many floors, he must have even let his guests stay as long as they wish!

Bedroom. This guy sure knows luxury!

The main building of his home. Impressive!

Even the toilets look luxurious (a)

After you've seen some of the pictures of his home, let's just say that this is in fact a hoax.
Well, don't blame me! What I did was to show you some nice pictures I got in my email. Ok, this is in fact the Emirates Palace hotel, a really lavish hotel for that fact. You can visit the hotel's website Here and the pictures area Here. Notice that picture (a) is in fact "Bathroom in Khaleej Suite : Luxury".

I too dreamed of having a home as large as this. Well, at least, one less 'big house' competitor!

Rowan Atkinson's Daughter Gemma? - 7th August

My friend recently emailed me some pictures of Gemma Atkinson and according to the email, Gemma Atkinson is the daughter of the bumbling Mr.Bean. I know, first thought is that how could it be? Mr.Bean the character who's sort of full with all manner of laughable antics while Gemma, a lingerie and pretty model be related? Here, take a look at Gemma:-

She's quite a beauty and yes, it's plastic surgery.
Look it up and you'll find out its 34E.
(Not sure why I'm providing the additional info.)

Then take a look at Rowan Atkinson:-

I especially chose a photo that doesn't make him look like Mr.Bean.

Now, do you see the similarity? No? Try again?
Stiil no? Here, take a look at the next photo:-

I'm sure you can the similarity, especially in the lips area.
Wait, that's not the girl in the first photo? Haha..No.
This girl here is the true daugther of Rowan Atkinson named Lily Atkinson.
She appears as Lily at the Stereo in Mr.Bean's holiday (the movie).

So, the conclusion is that, even if they share the same family name, Rowan Atkinson is definitely not the father of Gemma Atkinson. Furthermore, Rowan Atkinson's wife nor he himself is a blond haired person, how could he produce a blonde hair girl? (unless she dyed her hair). Therefore, its not good to believe all you see / hear, do some research and the truth reveals itself.

Edit:- Changed from "daughter of Gemma Atkinson" to "father of Gemma Atkinson"

Realization - Part 2 - 7th August

Looking back at my blog posts so far, I guess it must be pretty dull for readers, no pictures, no interactive stuff to do, nothing on entertainment nor on politics and pretty much either about my life or on website design. Well, I guess, starting from the next post onwards, there will probably be pictures accompanying each post to 'enhance' the readability of the blog. Well, probably I would put also some of my own advertising between them. Anyways, recently my updates have dwindled and has decreased drastically, probably due to the amount of work I still have left for my Master's thesis and my website, also still in development, but rarely any updates at the moment on it as again I repeat not a lot of time has been spent on that lately. But what I do hope is that I can get it up and running in September I hope and probably I would go online and search for 'lucky' days for grand opening of business. But I wonder again, how many people would join and provide support? No doubt family and friends would, but business is not about making money of friends and family, it's about strangers paying you money for you to do something for them, and I wonder what would the response be? Hopefully it would not be as dwindling as this blog...

Restaurant City - 6th August

After playing for so many months, I finally achieve a popularity level of 50 in the Facebook game of Restaurant City! This game is kind of addictive when you have nothing else better to play. But my complaints are that you can't gain gourmet experience in this game if you're not opening the game and the fact that they ask you to gain like 8000 points with almost 120 per hour, this is agonizing wait. Anyways. here the picture of the 50 points, located at the right-hand upper corner with the thumb sign.

Anti-Smoking - 5th August

My friend recently emailed some advertisement on anti-smoking campaigns. Considering the fact that I've seen many many people succumb to smoking, and I guess that I wouldn't want to put up gruesome pictures on the effects of smoking, I might as well, put this up to show the basics to smokes from cigarettes. Which is mild considered to the advertisement that the government of my country. Anyways, here are the advertisements (among the more creative ones):-

This advertisement show a plate of cigarette butts and the contents of cigarettes.
Yeah, smokers might as well do this as smoking is sort of inhaling some of the contents.

Each cigarette is akin to a bullet in a pistol, never know which would eventually cause the fatal wound.

The amount of heat generated by the chemicals may cause the lungs to burn?
Nah, smoking is like burning away your lungs when it is already very fragile.
Smoking clogs your lungs and diminish you of breath. Might as well take the lung away.

Lonely Day - 3rd August

I was driving to UM today when I was listening to this song by System of A Down. Guess it does make a Monday seem so much more Monday...

Lonely Day by SOAD
==================

Such a lonely day
And its mine
The most loneliest day of my life

Such a lonely day
Should be banned
It's a day that I can't stand

The most loneliest day of my life
The most loneliest day of my life

Such a lonely day
Shouldn't exist
It's a day that I'll never miss
Such a lonely day
And its mine
The most loneliest day of my life

And if you go, I wanna go with you
And if you die, I wanna die with you

Take your hand and walk away

The most loneliest day of my life
The most loneliest day of my life
The most loneliest day of my life
Life

Such a lonely day
And its mine
It's a day that I'm glad I survived
